View Hill School is a lovely small rural school nestled in the foothills of North Canterbury, just ten minutes from the town of Oxford and 45 minutes from Christchurch.
We teach children from New Entrants to Year 8, with an emphasis on small class sizes and making the most of our wonderful local environment. There is plenty of space for children to run, play and explore in our beautiful school grounds.
With a supportive local community, dedicated kaimahi, kaiako and tumuaki, we live up to our View Hill School motto . . .

Thank you . . . to all who came and supported our community event VH Dark Sky - Discover the Night event on Saturday the 19th. We were able to raise important awareness for our Dark Sky above us, learn and experience everything about dark sky, and raise some much needed funds for our school.
